The hashtag symbol is used to categorize tweets. Clicking on a hashtagged word in any tweet shows you others marked with that keyword.  

Some related hashtags:  #healthapps, #ehealth, #mobilehealth, #digitalhealth, #telemedicine, #telehealth.   Although they are updated frequently,  hashtag feeds are not peer reviewed; there is no barrier to prevent misleading information.
