Get Apps on Your Phone!

Some of the point-of-care resources we provide have mobile apps. Here's how to get them on your phone.

DynaMed:

  • Open DynaMed from the library's website or this guide.
  • Click the "Get the DynaMed Plus Mobile App" link at the left side of the page.
  • Enter your e-mail address and you will be sent instructions for downloading the DynaMed Plus mobile app.

UpToDate:

VisualDx:

  • Open VisualDx from the library's website or this guide.
  • Below the search bar, you will see "Get the Mobile App" phone icon; click on that icon.
  • Fill out the form and you will be sent instructions for downloading the VisualDx mobile app.

Micromedex:

  • Open Micromedex from the library's website or this guide.
  • Click the Micromedex button on the right.
  • Click the "Download Mobile Apps" button on the lower right.
  • There are three Micromedex apps: Free Micromedex Drug Reference for Internet Subscribers, Micromedex Drug Interactions, and Micromedex IV Compatibility. Scroll down to the app(s) of interest and follow the instructions.
  • *NOTE: The Micromedex passwords change yearly. If your current password no longer gets you into the app, repeat the first three steps above and scroll down to Step 4 of the app of interest to get the new passwords.
