No Pain, No Gain!

Hello WesternU Community,

The work on moving our print collections continues.  Books have been removed from the 2nd floor shelves and placed on carts you will see throughout the 2nd floor.  Journals are in the process of being removed from shelves and placed on carts located on the 3rd floor and Anderson Tower (Mezzanine).  The books shelves are being disassembled, will be moved to the Basement and reassembled into the mobile shelving unit.  The journal shelves on the 3rd floor will be disassembled, moved to Anderson Tower and reassembled into the stationary shelving unit.

During this time, if you are looking for a book, please use our book hold service so that Library Staff can search for the book and place it on hold for you at the 1st floor main desk.  Study space will be limited until December 20th.  We will work on making more study space available when the books are moved to the Basement.  You are still welcome to use our study rooms, only room #310 and #202 are unavailable during this time.

Thank you for your patience during this time.

Karol Almanzar, MLIS
Library Director
